Longleat 2019 – Festival of Light – Myths and Legends
Myths and Legends featuring extraordinary creatures and ancient deities from Greek mythology. With over 3,000 lanterns, the magnificent Greek Parthenon draws guests into this magical world and brings it to life.
The Land of the Gods, houses Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite and even Medusa, with Perseus, before he strikes the fatal blow. The garden of Mythical Monsters includes the Minotaur in his labyrinth, the volcanic Underworld, with Hades and Persephone, the three-headed hellhound Cerberus and Hercules battling the hydra!

Nashville Zoo 2019 – “Zoolumination: Chinese Festival of Light.”
The largest lantern show in America spanning more than 60 acres and featuring thousands of custom-designed lanterns, a life-size holiday village, entertainment and specialty food options. The displays includes lanterns that are the size of four-story buildings and a dragon nearly the length of a football field. Chinese artists have recreated zoo animals in great detail and at actual size, including elephants, rhinos, giraffe and dozens of others.

Thoiry 2019 – Lumieres Sauvages – The Great Evolutionary Odyssey
For this second year, Zoo Safari de Thoiry is unveiling a whole new theme. Lanterns never before made, have been specially created to take place in the castle grounds and gardens. At the entrance of the festival, an impressive magic forest immediately immerses visitors in a dreamlike atmosphere. The new route offers, on almost 3 hectares, an evocation of the evolution of life, from underwater worlds to dinosaurs, birds, monkeys, to finish on the grounds of the castle in the middle of a large Renaissance scene in the presence of King Henry IV.
